Typically this place is pretty good, and is one of my favorite places in town. I wonder if the owner was out of town, it was way off today. The calamari was way overcooked, to the point of being tough to chew. Typically its very close to melt in your mouth. The waitress didn't give us bread until after our food came out, but I'd never had this waitress before. The chicken was overcooked to the point of being horribly dry. Ive never had dry chicken from them before. The shrimp wasn't shelled, even though it was in sauce. That just means you wind up eating shell by accident, or you shell the shrimp yourself and get sauce all over you. Maybe they got a different brand?
